Hi! I’m Elizabeth, licensed special education teacher and dyslexia tutoring specialist. I provide one-on-one instruction for students who struggle with reading and spelling, including those with dyslexia and other learning differences.
I founded Tern Path Learning from my belief that every student can learn to read with confidence and joy. I’ve dedicated my career to helping children find their footing as readers and learners, because strong literacy skills give them the foundation to soar—in school and beyond.

One-on-one Tutoring
I provide one-on-one tutoring that blends structured literacy instruction with educational therapy techniques to strengthen both academic skills and the underlying cognitive processes essential for learning. Each session is fully individualized, allowing instruction to meet the student exactly where they are and adapt as they grow. To support meaningful progress and long-term retention, I recommend a minimum of two sessions per week. This consistent, personalized approach helps students build skills systematically, develop confidence, and experience success in a focused, supportive setting.
Online Tutoring
I offer online one-on-one tutoring that blends structured literacy instruction with educational therapy techniques to strengthen both academic skills and the underlying cognitive processes essential for learning. Each virtual session is fully individualized, ensuring instruction is responsive, targeted, and aligned with the student’s needs. To support steady progress and long-term retention, I recommend a minimum of two sessions per week.
